Gents — behold, the first full length trailer for Bruce LaBruce’s upcoming film “L.A. Zombie” starring porn-star François Sagat due in theaters in 2010. This is LaBruce’s second Zombie art/porn/indie film. “Otto, or, Up With Dead People” — which follows a zombie named Otto (Jey Crisfar) who hitches a ride to Berlin and begins to explore the city — released in 2008.
LaBruce hasn’t been shy about his zombie obsessions, and he once again blurs the line between indie-film and porn in his latest project. This is a smart move, since “L.A. Zombie” will screen at both film festivals and have distribution through porn retailers thus doubling the film’s exposure and audience. DVD’s are also available on LAZombie.com.
In traditional LaBruce style, “L.A. Zombie” stars some unexpected characters including Santino Rice (”Project Runway,” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Matthew Rush (”Another Gay Movie”), tattoo-clad supermodel, Tony Ward, and rapper DeadLee.
