RIFP | The Daily Mail and the Guardian UK report that revolutionary fashion designer Alexander McQueen committed suicide this morning at the age of 40 at his home in London just weeks before unveiling of his A/W 2010-11 collection in Paris. To lose an artist and designer who dared us to dream, whose dark and extravagant sensibility combined with his technical virtuosity is truly a cultural and human tragedy.
