Of course, the best anxiety management for children is cognitive therapy done by a trained professional. This type of consultation will force the child to look at why they are feeling stress due to certain things. With a deeper understanding of the root cause, they can reprogram their mental response and not feel excessive fear or anxiety when confronted with specific situations. Although some extreme cases of anxiety disorders in children will need to be treated with medication, most of these conditions usually disappear as the child gets older.
