Kaiserin, the biannual, bilingual “magazine for boys with problems,” is celebrating the launch of issue seven with a party in Paris on Friday, January 15, at Galerie the Window 41 (open bar!).  The afterparty, at nearby La Chop des Artistes, is hosted by, get this: Otto Dicks and Kebab-in-Vichy.  The afterparty appears to be the inaugural installment of their new party, called Yodel Weiss.  That said, I could have this all wrong: I don’t speak crazy.

If you can’t make it to the launch to snag a free copy, the Luxembourg-printed new issue looks to be worth seeking out.  Cover artist Tom Burr (a personal favorite) is joined by New York-based photographer Jan Wandrag, Parisian artist Tony Regazzoni, collective Comité Central, musicians Adam Kesher and General Elektriks, art scholar and tour guide Damien Delille, and photographer Thomas Dozol, otherwise known as Michael Stipe’s boyfriend (and frequent host of guys with iPhones in their bathroom).  The magazine should be available soon from many independent booksellers (see stockists here), or can be ordered online.
