Adonis for iPhone?

Now in their second “issue” Cali photog, Christian Del Rosario, approaches the male form ala Americana–see the American flags? Get it? Del Rosario is no Bruce Weber, but we never turn down the chance to gawk at gorgeous half naked dudes. However, abs and pretty faces can only take you so far before the “Adonis” concept becomes boring and repetitive.

According to themselves, Adonis is:

“…the first iPhone male photography magazine, that will be publishing work of the most talented photographers from all around the world, featuring models that could be described by one word only ADONIS.”

Here’s some advice for our friends at Adonis for keeping their idea fresh and fun:

1. Hire a few top fashion photographers. For a list see any photo spread featured on homo-neurotic.com. Think Terry Richardson or Hedi Slimane or Steven Klein. Trust us, those guys love the male form as much as we do.

2. Less abs is more. Every once in a while, we like to look at delicious calves or a beautifully sculpted back. Also, consider feature different body types. Swimmers will have a vastly different body than David Barton Gym bunnies or soccer players. Which leads us to suggestion 3.

3. Feature sports studs. We can NEVER get enough Cristiano Ronaldo, Mark Sanchez, or even A-Rod (all of whom posed in Magazines in 2009).

4. Give us more ass. Yup. We said it. There’s nothing more beautiful than a divinely sculpted derriere. So, don’t be afraid to show it off. Take a cue from Levi Johnston. Sometimes crack is not whack.

5. Mix it up. We like men of all colors. Show us a hairy guy, a skinny guy, a beefier guy, Black, White, Asian, Latino… embrace diversity. We do.
