gAy-T.L.? | This week HN ventured to Campus Thursdays @ NYC’s Splash presented by Boiparty.com where I met up with Justin Luke (JustinRZB) for the much talked about “performance” by Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak. And, of course, she was tardy to the party. Zolciak arrived at 1:00am along with surprise guest Andy Cohen—the Bravo VP responsible for many of the guilty TV pleasures we enjoy.

After an extensive round of posing, Kim finally took the stage before a crowd of impatient, probably drunk, and understandably peeved revelers. There was much skepticism surrounding her performance—was she going to lip-sync or actually sing (we all remember her “Tight Rope” number on the show)? Were we not standing five feet from her, we wouldn’t have believed it was Zolciak’s voice. Altanta’s Barbie Doll looked nervous on stage and, frankly, (for someone that craves the spotlight and attention as much as she does on the show) her performance disappointed. Maybe that’s why according Miss P. Hilton herself, Kim will possibly getting the axe.

Cohen joined Big Papa’s girl on stage after her she sang (Kim did her number twice) and explained what Kim has been up to since the season finale. There was some talk about her ongoing feud with Nene Leakes (weren’t they both recently fired) and of course her new mystery lover—and here’s where things finally got interesting.

Cohen urged Zolciak to reveal her lover’s identity, but Kim only said she was “very happy”. At some point Andy gestured to the dressing room and asked the mystery “person” to “come out” but ultimately told the crowd to wait for Season 3. Kim chimed in with “What’s if it’s not a guy?” and the crowd cheered.

Is this legit or just a ploy to drum-up publicity or worse: part of a Bravo plan to have their characters fall for unexpected significant others—ala Atlanta” honorary sixth housewife Dwight Eubanks’ “engagement” to a woman? Eubanks is famously queer—he’s married to man and woman, or so he told Wendy Williams.

If indeed Kim ends up dating a woman (kudos to her!), we may have just published the first pictures of the couple together! Dina Manzo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey showed up on stage but her purpose for being there was less clear. If there was a table to flip, we missed it.

After a bit of banter with her Atlanta counterpart Kim took the stage once more with Andy adding to her choreography for yet another performance of her “hit” single. That’s about the time we downed our drinks and fled for the exit.

UPDATE: According to Reality Tea, Kim’s new gal pal is Miami-based DJ Tracy Young.
