Fever Ray | Seven (Video)

RE-MASKED | This is the official music video for Fever Ray’s “Seven” directed by Johan Renck from her self-titled album out now on Mute. Fever Ray’s front woman, Karin Dreijer Andersson, whom you knew from The Knife, is famous for a sort of allusiveness. She often performs in masks, costumes, and replaces herself with lip syncing usurpers in music videos. “Seven” is the fourth single from the debut record. And although The Knife is on hiatus, according to Mute Records, Andersson is collaborating with brother Olof on an opera based on the life of Charles Darwin called “Tomorrow In A Year” — set to premier in Copenhagen later this year. “Seven” the single, which includes remixes from CSS, Martyn, Nic Chacona, Marcel Dettmann and Seth Troxler, drops September 29.
