Saturday night homo-neurotic joined the NewFest gang to celebrate the world premiere of Rivers Wash Over Me  at the Chelsea Art Museum.

Many of the cast was in attendance, including leads Cameron Mitchell Mason, Derrick L. Middleton (check out his sexy tats), Homo-Neurotic’s early pick for Newfest ’It’ Girl, Elizabeth Dennis who’s shy sweetness won us over, as well as adorable newcomer Aidan Schultz-Meyer

Mixing and mingling with the cast and crew in such a contemporary space seemed a stark contrast to the film’s traditional themes and setting, but with drinks in hand (open bar naturally), it was a refreshing reminder of just how far we were from the horrors of high school and hometowns.

I’m the editor of Rivers Wash Over Me. I’m so glad to find that photo of me with Aidan, Rob Ansbro (cinematographer) and Alex Watson-Eng (production assistant). I wondered who took that and thought I’d never get to see it.

Thank you so much for your praise of our efforts. We are all thrilled by the reception. I have been sharing the link to your review.

    Thanks again!
