Dustin Lance Black by Gus Van Sant for Vogue Hommes

Dustin Lance Black is not only a sexy shirtless guy. He’s also an Academy Award winning screenwriter. Perhaps you saw his film, Milk? He’s also one of the masterminds behind HBO’s “Big Love” which is based on his own devout Mormon childhood experiences in San Antonio, Texas.

In 2004, in between shooting “Big Love,” Black would drive up to San Francisco to track down Harvey Milk’s old friends, foes, lovers, and political allies. Three years later he wrote “Milk.”

But Black isn’t resting on his Oscar laurels. He’s started pre-production on his feature directorial debut, WHAT’S WRONG WITH VIRGINIA starring Jennifer Connelly. Black is also teaming up Gus Van Sant one more time for an adaptation of the novel ELECTRIC KOOL AID ACID TEST.

If only all writers, were as sexy as DLB. Sigh.
