While artwork prices have skyrocketed and artists increasingly pander to commercialism, it sometimes feels like art has lost its transforming and transcendent qualities… the power to make a meaningful statement. Never fear, however, because Constructed Perfection has raised the rally cry for artists far and near to gather in Prospect Park this Saturday, Oct 4th at 11am for its first public art project, ART RESPONSE, meant to serve as a silent, visual reaction to the state of our country. If ever there was a time to use the power of art to convey a message of protest, it is now. For more details navigate over to Constructed Perfection’s website.
