Sir Sabrina’s 30th Birthday Dance Off @ *snapshots* (Bar 13)

Lesson learned: Lesbians are more particular about being photographed than gay men — hands down. Put a flash in front of gay dudes and they begin to pose faster than Benny Ninja on reruns of ANTM. Lesbians require more diplomacy — they want to know where the pictures are going, who I am, and they want multiple takes. Not all gals is as camera friendly as birthday girl Sabrina at Tuesday night’s *snapshots* party at Bar 13. Mazbot and I arrived for a few snapshots of our own.

Don’t you love straight girls at queer parties? I swear we took 20+ pictures of this gal. Ironically, I ended up using the very first shot.

I love the smile on Sabrina’s face, even if the image is under-exposed.

Good thing Sir Sabrina’s mouth is big enough to blow out those candles…all 30 of them. (We counted).

See! I told you we took over 20 pictures of this girl. She was sweet, though, almost as sweet as that cupcake in her mouth.

Above and below, are photos of the few, the brave… “the guys” at the party. I even saw a straight couple (not pictured) at the party making out!! (ew!!) Don’t they have their own bars?

The two lovely girls get the cool award for understanding the irony behind “homo-neurotic.” Yay! I love you guys.

These women are poster girls for those gorgeous, smart, totally friendly NYC couples that make you roll your eyes with jealousy. I couldn’t resist taking this snapshot. Adorable.
